Coverage reflects where our tutors are based and how far each is willing to travel. In-person rates vary with distance and are confirmed at your free consultation.
If you are further out, ask anyway
The suburbs above are where our tutors already live and travel. They are not the limit of what we can do.
When an enquiry comes from outside that map, we do one of two things. Usually online solves it immediately, and for most secondary and VCE students it is genuinely the better option anyway. Where a family needs someone in the room — younger primary students, mostly — we recruit for the area. We hire tutors on the same standard regardless of postcode: a 97+ ATAR for school subjects, a High Distinction in the exact unit for university, and a current Working with Children Check before anyone meets a student.
What we will not do is tell you we have someone nearby when we do not. Recruiting properly takes a few weeks, and if that timeline does not suit your child we will say so at the consultation and put you online instead. Being straight about it at the start is better than a tutor who is not the right fit, or a start date that keeps moving.
So the short answer: we cover Melbourne. The list above is where we can usually start this week — everywhere else, tell us your suburb and timeline and we will give you a realistic answer.
How in-person coverage actually works
This list is not a marketing radius drawn around the CBD. It is built from where our tutors actually live and how far each one is genuinely willing to drive — which is why the west is a shorter list than the south-east, and why our bayside coverage is tighter than our eastern coverage.
Two consequences worth knowing before you enquire:
- 1Your subject matters as much as your suburb. Having a tutor near you is not enough if they do not teach VCE Chemistry. At the consultation we check both, and we will tell you plainly if the honest answer is online.
- 2In-person rates reflect travel. A tutor driving 25 minutes each way is spending an hour of unpaid time on your lesson. That is priced in, and we confirm your exact rate once we know your suburb.
Online is a flat rate everywhere and opens up our whole team rather than only the tutors near you. For most VCE students it is the better option — see pricing for both.

The whole team, not the nearby ones
Online means you are matched with the best tutor for your subject rather than the best one within driving distance. For specialised VCE subjects that difference is large.
No travel in a Year 12 week
An hour of lesson stays an hour, rather than an hour plus two car trips. In an already tight Year 12 timetable that adds up quickly.
A flat rate everywhere
Online pricing does not change with your postcode. From $35/hr for primary and $75/hr for VCE, one-on-one.
