Getting started takes one phone call

    Free consultation. A 20 to 30 minute video call with you and your child. We talk through their current results, where they are losing marks, and how they learn.

    We match the tutor. Not whoever is free, but the tutor on our team whose own VCE results and subject strengths line up with what your child needs.

    Lessons start. Weekly one-on-one sessions, online or at your home. You get a written summary after each lesson so you can see exactly what was covered.

VCE tutoring questions

One-on-one VCE tutoring starts at $75/hr online. In-person lessons across metropolitan Melbourne are quoted at your consultation, since the rate reflects travel to your suburb. Group lessons with two to four students start at $45 per student per hour online. No lock-in contracts, no upfront deposits, and you can prepay a block of hours for a small discount if you want to.
Every school-level tutor scored a 97 or higher ATAR, which puts them in the top 3% of the state, and each one tutors only the subjects they personally excelled in. All hold a current Working with Children Check. For university-level tutoring we require a High Distinction in the exact unit, not just the general subject area.
Earlier is better, because Unit 3/4 SACs start contributing to the study score from the beginning of the year. Students who start in Term 4 of Year 11 or Term 1 of Year 12 have time to close gaps before assessments count. That said, targeted exam preparation in Terms 2 and 3 still makes a real difference, and we take students at any point in the year.
Yes, and for most students the SACs matter more than they realise. SACs determine your school-assessed coursework ranking, which feeds into your final study score. We work through SAC preparation during the year and shift to exam technique and past papers as the exam period approaches.
